Despite acquiring some gnarly skate photos whilst at thrasher central today, I can’t stop thinking about this image. So this gets posted. I found it while combing through my Spring 2010 work. All of it. I’m collecting some images for various portfolios, to say the least.
Part of the reason I can’t get it out of my head is because I can’t figure it out. I can’t figure out why it strikes me so, and that causes further unwilled mental examination.
I know I like how it’s framed on two sides by the details that reveal it to be shot from inside a car. That could lend it a voyeuristic look, but I bring to the table the memory of the most pleasant walk I shared with these two fine persons and others not pictured directly preceding this moment of departure.
Their jackets really stand out to me. Also the bold window frames behind them. And some other stuff… and even more stuff that I apparently can’t point to.
I’ll have to sleep on it.
